Renowned Southern Music composer M.S.Viswanathan who was in critical in the hospital for breathing problems and age releated ailments has passed away today.The 87 years old legendary composer has more than 1700 films to his credit and his demise is a great loss to the southern cinema industry.
His first film was MGR starrer 'Jenova'.MSV was much popular for his collaboration with composer Ramamurthy, and the duo has composed together for around 85 films, and several among them were award winning ones.

M.S.Viswanathan who was popularly called as Mellisai Mannar, has worked with several generations of artists, and he may be the only one composer who has worked with three CM's of Tamilnadu (MGR, Ms.Jayalalitha, Kalaignar Karunanithi).
