Sukirthan received death threat by the two unknown persons on a Mahinda’s motor cycle -

Sukirthan, the NPC member of TNA has been received death threat by the two unknown persons who went there on a motorbike which was issued by Mahinda for the election campaign. He was intimidated to be assassinated along with his family,

Sukirthan stated in the complaint filed at Nelliyadi Police Station. He received death threat after being stopped by the two persons followed him covering their face with their helmets so as to be unidentified   near the “Vallipura Aalvar Temple”, when he was on his way to Vadamaratchi East, Sukirthan further added.  

“Stop talking about us. We will win the election. Though the regime changed we remain unchanged”, the two perpetrators told him. Emphasizing that as the second warning, they intimidated him to be assassinated along with his family, Sukirthan stated in the complaint.

Notably, apart from government servants, the members of EPDP and SLFP have also recently been given the motorcycles issued by Mahinda.
