Director Umesh Shukla is all set to shoot his new project Mere Apne with Abhishek Bachchan. The director, who has collected fame with his debut OMG: Oh My God!, says that the film is family oriented.
Shukla speaks about the actor that Abhishek was the only choice for his film as he thinks that this actor can only do justice to the character. He confirms that although the title Mere Apne is same as that of the 1971 movie but it is not a remake of any film.
Umesh shows his excitement for the movie saying, "In the next four weeks, we will confirm Abhishek's dates and will start shooting. The schedule will complete in one go, it is a 60-day schedule. We will be shooting in Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and London".
