RANIL MEETS TOP US OFFICIAL…

The Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs in the United States Department of State, Nisha Biswal on Friday (January 31) met with UNP Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe at the Opposition Leader’s Official Residance in Colombo. Biswal, who will travel to a former war zone to meet with ethnic minority Tamil leaders as part of her two-day visit, was accompanied by the US ambassador to Sri Lanka Michel J. Sison.
