2 die as storm hits United Kingdom

A teenager and a man were killed when a tree fell on them due to a powerful storm in UK. Considered to be the most powerful in the last few decades, the St Jude's Storm swept through the southern and the central
parts of the country, tearing down trees and power lines, causing havoc to the transport system. Close to 220,000 homes have no power and the rail services have been temporarily been cancelled as high winds have brought down trees. A top wind speed of 99mph has been recorded on the Isle of Wight at the height of the storm.
