Groups have tapped the phone call of Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Defence secretary has lodged complaint at the respective tele-communication.
In an investigation conducted by a special investigation team it was revealed that an embassy and a leading foreign intelligence service are behind it.
Not only have they listened to the telephone conversations of the Defence Secretary, but also to the conversations of many other dignitaries, reports say.It is also learnt that they possess high-tech equipment required to engage in the task.
The relevant tele-communication company has also commenced investigations into the incident.
