One week before the International Women's day, eight ladies were felicitated with JWF women achievers awards. This is the fifth time for the organisation to be felicitating women with awards.
The rocket lady Tessy Thomas received the award for Technology. Film actresses Trisha, Hansika, Sarojadevi, Sujata Mohan and other popular women Alarmalvalli, Deepika Pallika were among the recipients of the awards. Tennis sensation Sania Mirza was a special invitee at the awards function.
As the Women's day is nearing, many events are on pace involving the women. Many of the organisations are coming forward to felicitate women excelling in various fields.
