Military interfering in the Education Activities of the Tamil students

TNA has decided to make complaints to the international sector about the military interfering into the educational activities of the Tamil students.

TA has vehemently condemned the appointing of military personal to teach Sinhala language, and has told that it is taking the issue to the international sector

The military does not interfere into the educational activities even in countries where army governments are in control. If so why does the military intrude into the education activities in Sri Lanka where it is told that democracy is prevailing?

Military personnel have been appointed to the Tamil schools in the kilinohchi and Mullaithivu districts. The army men go to these schools in uniform to teach Sinhala to the students. The zonal education office has given permission to do so.

The students and the parents are dissatisfied with the activities of the army, says TNA parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran
