Three persons were arrested on 14th and 15th, by the Terrorism Investigation Unit in the Jaffna peninsula.
The relations of the arrested persons had made complaints to the SriLanka Human Rights Commission Jaffna Regional Branch office yesterday Monday.
From November 30th, Terrorism Investigation unit have arrested Jaffna university students and former rebels including many in the Jaffna peninsula.
Last week, arrests were not taken place, but 3 persons were arrested at the end of week.
On last 14th, a person from Tellipalai locality was arrested, on 15th, a person from Point Pedro Thalaiyadi, and another person from Nelliaydi locality were arrested by the Terrorism Investigation unit.
Arrested are the workforces from the companies administrated by the Tamil Eelam Liberation tiger movement is stated.
Along with this three complaints recorded yesterday, the total complaints of the arrested persons by the Terrorism Investigation unit totals to 37.
