At Indonesia, a Powerful Earth Quake took place early in the morning today. Subsequent to this Earthquake, the Indonesian government has given an Alert on Tsunami Warning.
A 7.3-magnitude earthquake has struck under the Moluccas Sea in eastern Indonesia, triggering a tsunami warning in East Asia.
But however, it does not have any effect on the Indian Ocean as well as on Srilanka. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre warned of the possibility of "hazardous" waves on coasts within a 300km (186 mile) radius of the quake.
US Geological survey said that the quake struck at a depth of 46km northwest of Kota Ternate in the Moluccas islands.
But, however, there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. This Earthquake does not have any effect on the Indian Ocean. It does not have any effect on Srilanka.
