Air Force officer killed in explosion at his residence

An officer of the Air Force camp in Anuradhapura was killed following an explosion in his quarters early this morning (June 3).

The incident took place at around 12.40am today, police stated.

 The Anuradhapura police stated that the victim was a 31 year old resident of the Radawana area.

 Further investigations are being carried out by the Anuradhapura police.
